Look at that face! Riley is all over the place! She's crawling and almost ready to walk!!! She'll stand alone for a while but is still too timid to take the steps! Her favorite thing to do you ask?? EAT!!! I can't give food to her fast enough! She never really took to jarred baby food but man does she love food. She also loves to feed herself. She loves ham and cheese, noodles, turkey, FISH, rice, beans...pretty much anything you put in front of her that is soft enough and goes down easy. She's a big baby, not fat, just big, long and a little chunky! We all love her so much. She just lights up a room with one glance (you can't ever "just glance" at her though, she's too dang cute)! She's beautiful and sweet. She can be a bit temperamental at times, especially when she doesn't have any food in front of her or if her big sister takes something from her (we're working on that), if she's sleepy, or if we walk away from her, she loves to be around people, especially her family!
I love this picture of Maddie! It was taken at my parent's house. Maddie has definitely been testing me lately on ALL levels. She really knows how to push my buttons...ON ALL LEVELS! She knows how to make me angry and how to make me laugh. MAN, 3 has been a tough stage for us. Hopefully 4 will be better! Maddie is such a doll when she wants to be though, so cute and loving, sweet and caring, but when she doesn't want to be those things she's all the opposites and THEN some! I always love her, but as sad as it sounds, I don't always LIKE the way she behaves and feel like I've failed in some way. I guess that's all part of this whole parenting thing. Fun stuff, huh! I love this girl. I love her sweet smile and the way she talks, her beautiful big eyes and pouty pink lips. I'm glad that she's sassy and knows what she wants, hopefully it'll take her far in life!
